When The Returning Path appears in a reading
The Returning Path shows up when I have learned something and have not yet brought it home. Old stories of crossing end with a return or they stay unfinished. Insight proves itself in kitchens, inboxes, and conversations, not on the far side of the hedge. The card asks what I already know that is waiting to be practiced.
The shadow is endless seeking. Another book, another course, another reading, because returning would mean living what I learned. When the card appears, I stop looking for the next lesson and plant the last one.
