About the decks

What is an oracle deck?

A set of cards used for reflection and guidance. Unlike tarot, there is no fixed structure: each deck sets its own theme, card count and meanings. More on what an oracle deck is.

How is an oracle deck different from tarot?

Tarot follows a set 78-card system of Major and Minor Arcana. Oracle decks are freer, each shaped by its creator’s theme. Mine run 36 to 44 cards, and each one is built around a single idea, from the vagus nerve to Thoreau at Walden Pond.

Can oracle cards predict the future?

Mine are not built for that. They are mirror decks: a card offers a question worth asking and a practice worth trying, and you decide what it means for you. They are tools for reflection, not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

Are these decks good for beginners?

Yes. Every deck includes a guidebook that walks through each card, and my beginner’s guide to reading oracle cards covers your first reading.

How do I choose my first oracle deck?

Start with what you want to think about. The collections group the decks by theme, and every deck’s View Cards button lets you flip through all its cards before you buy. You can also pull three cards free from any deck to see how it feels.

Can I buy my own oracle deck?

Yes. There is an old saying that a deck should come to you as a gift, but it is a superstition, not a rule. I have never found that it matters. Choosing a deck because its theme speaks to what you are working through is a fine way to begin. More on the gift rule.

What comes with each deck?

The cards, a guidebook that explains where the deck’s idea comes from and what each card means, and a box to keep them in. Each deck’s page lists its card count.

How are the decks made?

I write every concept, card meaning and guidebook myself. I guide the visual development through an iterative digital workflow, shaping atmosphere, symbolism, and composition with precise creative direction, then select, refine, and assemble each image into the final deck. Each deck is printed to order by a professional print partner in the USA.

Ordering and shipping

Where do you ship?

Decks are sold through my Etsy shop, which ships within the United States and internationally. This site is where you explore the decks, read every card meaning and pull free readings; when you are ready, the Buy on Etsy button on any deck page opens its listing.

How much is shipping?

Free for US orders. International shipping is calculated at Etsy checkout, and customs or the carrier may charge import duties or taxes on delivery, which are not included in the price.

How long will my order take?

Decks are made to order and ship within 1 to 2 weeks, processing Monday through Friday. After that, US delivery typically takes 5 to 8 business days; for other countries Etsy shows an estimated delivery date on the listing and at checkout. Etsy sends you a tracking number when your order ships. Full details are in the shipping policy.

Can I send a deck as a gift?

Yes. At Etsy checkout, enter the recipient’s address as the shipping address and add a gift note if you like.

How can I pay?

Etsy checkout takes major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the other methods Etsy offers, with Etsy Purchase Protection on every order.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, for a full refund, as long as it has not entered production. Printing usually begins within a few hours, so message me on Etsy as soon as you can.

Returns and care

Can I return a deck?

Yes. Returns on Etsy orders go through Etsy, on the same terms as my returns policy. You have 30 days from delivery to return an unopened deck, with the seal intact, for a full refund. Orders placed between November 1 and December 24 can be returned through January 31. The full terms are in the returns policy.

What if my deck arrives damaged or wrong?

Message me on Etsy or email me within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and I will send a free replacement or a full refund. You never pay return shipping on a damaged, misprinted or incorrect deck.

How do I care for my cards?

Keep them dry and out of direct sun, shuffle gently, and store them in their box between readings. A soft cloth or pouch works well if you carry a deck with you.

How do I get in touch?
