Charmers often practiced one specialized gift: a charm for burns, a charm for bleeding, or words passed quietly through a family and offered in trust.
Depth matters more than breadth. Keep faith with the small, reliable gift you possess. In shadow, the practice becomes rigid and is never passed on. An unshared gift ends with you.

When The Charmer appears in a reading
The Charmer appears when I am tempted to be good at everything and end up reliable at nothing. Charmers often kept to one specialized gift, such as a charm for burns or a charm for bleeding, and held it faithfully. The card asks what my one dependable gift is, and whether I have been keeping faith with it or scattering myself.
Its shadow is rigidity, and hoarding. A gift that is never shared or passed on ends with the person who holds it. When the card appears, I ask who I could trust with a share of what I know.
