The Second Question: Love Oracle Deck
$39.95 on Etsy
My 40-card love oracle deck for dating, relationships, and the choices love asks of you. It does not read anyone’s mind. Every card asks what you are observing, what you are assuming, what you need, and what you can decide today, across four suits: Self, Attraction, Connection, and Crossroads. Five spreads and a 100-page guidebook.
Decks ship from our Etsy shop. The card explorer, card meanings and free readings stay right here.
Description
I made this deck because I got tired of lying to myself with other people’s cards. I have pulled “they miss you” on a bad night and felt better for an hour, and I have watched that hour cost me a month. A card cannot read an absent person’s mind. What it can do is slow you down, name the need under the question, test the story you are telling, and show you the choice that uncertainty has been hiding.
So The Second Question starts somewhere different. Someone asking “will they text” is usually also asking “can I hope, should I wait, am I still loved, and how do I hold myself right now.” Those questions have honest answers. Every card leans on the same three: what do I actually know, what am I inferring, and what would I need to ask? The ideas come from attachment research and from studies of real couples in conflict and repair, and popular ideas like love languages and limerence are used as lenses, not laws.
The deck is 40 love oracle cards in four suits of ten, shuffled together. Self is the question about you before anyone else: worth, needs, boundaries, grief, readiness. Attraction is what pulls at you: chemistry, longing, projection, pacing. Connection is a bond being built or tested: small responses, vulnerability, care, repair. Crossroads is love that has become difficult, with a choice in front of you: conflict, betrayal, distance, reconciliation, safety. Every card carries its title and a one-line essence, so a single draw reads without the book. In the 100-page guidebook each card has an Insight, The Shadow, an affirmation, a simple practice, and two journal prompts.
It works whether you are single, dating, partnered, breaking up, grieving, or happily alone. The five spreads keep familiar names from the love-reading tradition, from the one-card One Honest Question to the six-card Reconciliation Reality Check, and change every position that would require mind reading. “Their feelings” becomes “what their behavior shows.” The guidebook also carries Before You Reopen Contact, four questions to answer before you send that message.
You can see every card and its meaning in the card explorer, or try a free three-card reading with this deck.
